Currie Reviews Tow Bar Mounting Kit

The Tow Bar Mounting Kit that is brought to you by the minds at Currie is meant for use on any of the JK Wranglers with a model year of 2007 and up.  This kit comes to you complete with the plate that just bolts on and this plate will act as a direct replacement part for the valance panel made from plastic that the factory installs on these Jeeps.  Also included are the attaching forks that are meant for the tow bar along with all of the necessary hardware for a safe and proper installation.  The plate itself has been given a semi-gloss powder coat in black which gives it more resistance to corrosion.

If you are wondering which tow bars that this kit will be compatible with, wonder no more.  It will work in conjunction with the CE-9033D style tow bars as well as most of the towing bars by Blue OX and the CE-9033F tow bars.

Please Note:

If your Jeep Wrangler JK happens to be a 2010 or later model then there might be a need for a bit of trimming to be done to the lower part of the cross member to ensure proper fitment.  Additionally, some of the 2013 special edition JKs have a front bumper that will not be compatible with the Currie designed Tow Bar Mounting Kit at all.  You can tell if your Jeep fits into this category because the bumper will feature an integrated mount for the fairlead of a winch.
