This sway bar that Currie makes has been crafted from SAE
4130 steel that has been heat treated in order to give it a strength that is
unparalleled. This type of steel happens
to be the very same type that you see being used in the more popular off road
professional competitions. This sway bar
comes to you in a kit that contains each of the components that you will find
necessary for a proper and safe installation of the antirock sway bar. Contents of the kit include instructions that
are very highly detailed and complete as well as all of the hardware that is
necessary – including the bushings – for installation and of course the sway
bar itself. This is an installation that
is amazingly simple too. Just position
the sway bar through your cross member that is located in the front and then
simply attach the sway bar to your stock mounting points that are located right
on the housing of our axle.
Another amazingly useful thing about this particular sway
bar is the fact that it does not need to be disconnected when you decide to hit
the trails. When this sway bar made by
Currie is installed properly, you might notice that your rig has more of a
pronounced body roll that that which it had with the factory installed sway
bar. That said, while you can use this
sway bar in highway applications, your street performance will be altered.
Antirock
Sway Bar Kit by Currie for Rear
This is the kit you need to install Currie’s antirock
sway bar on the rear end of your LJ or TJ.
This is an incredibly simple install as everything that you will find in
the kit is made to simply be bolted on.
The only exception to this is the housing tabs that must be welded to
the actual housing. This kit contains a
45 inch sway bar, installation instructions, all of the hardware necessary for
installation, housing tabs, sway bar links, sway bar bushings and frame
brackets.
Please note: even though this installation is simple,
proceed with caution if you have never welded anything before.
